Super Sprout™ Rye Flour is sprouted and milled from non-GMO harvested American Rye. With enhanced nutrition and a deeper, smoother, more well-rounded flavor than regular whole rye flour. You can substitute this product cup for cup in favorite rye recipe. You may need to add additional liquid (10-20% more) to fully hydrate this flour. Also, it is will move more quickly with a starter than regular rye flour in a final dough.
Processed in a facility that also processes wheat.

A note on storage: When stored in original packaging for long periods of time organic flour can be susceptible to bug activity. We recommend re-packaging your flour. Most flour products will last 100-180 days, when kept in cool, dry, airtight conditions. Do not store in direct sunlight or beside the refrigerator, oven or heat vents. You can refrigerate or freeze the flour, just make sure to give it 24 hours to return to room temperature before using.
